田蝶，郫县春雨学校八年级学生，在七年级快期末转入。由于家庭贫困，从老家来到成都后与父母挤在一间很小的房间里生活居住，没有自己单独的房间。田蝶的爸爸妈妈在一家手工店做裁缝，挣着一件衣服几分钱的工作，生活非常的辛苦。
Tian Die, a Grade 8 student from Chun Yun School, Pi County, transferred at the end of Grade 7, after migrating from her hometown. Because her family is poor, Tian Die has been living in a very small room with her parents in Chengdu, without her own private space. Her parents are working in a private workshop as sewing workers and the whole family is living on the income of several cents per piece of sewing. Life is tough for them.
和同龄人相比较起来田蝶显得特别矮小，来到我们学校后她很不习惯，课间总是一个人在一边休息，在班里显得特别的孤僻。成绩处于中下游，与别人说话时很小心，生怕说错话被嫌弃。在2011年的暑假，春雨学校参加了由国际美慈组织开展的“加油”夏令营活动。由于田蝶同学暑假没有什么事情，在老师的鼓励下她报名参加了。
Compared to other children of her age, Tian Die looks much shorter. She didn’t seem used to the new environment and always stayed by herself during the class break, appearing very lonely. Her academic performance was below the average. She was extra careful whenever she talked to others, avoiding being abandoned by her peers because of using a wrong expression. Chun Yu School participated in “Let’s Go” summer camp organized by Mercy Corps in summer time of 2011. Tian Die was encouraged to sign up for the camp since she would be free and without any activities during the summer holiday.
在参加夏令营活动初期的建设性交流活动上，她一开始很羞怯，到她发言时总是吞吞吐吐。指导教师从不同的方面引导她，在接下来的游戏中她慢慢地开始活跃起来，每次都积极举手谈自己的感想，一天比一天有进步。有一次她竟然带着全班的同学一起表演手语舞（感恩的心），让老师大为震惊。
Tian Die was shy when she was asked to speak in front of the group at the beginning of the themed activity about constructive communication. She was carefully comforted and guided by her class trainer in several different ways. As time went by, she was motivated and became gradually more active. She was making progress day by day and willing to talk about her thoughts and often raised her hand to speak. We were so amazed to see that she led the whole class in a sign language performance called A Grateful Heart.
通过十五天的夏令营活动，田蝶同学有了很大的变化，在与别人的交流中能正视别人，说出自己的想法，课堂上积极发言，课后会主动与老师交流问题。变得开朗了许多，在学习上遇到困难时，能够主动找老师解答。在同学眼里她再也不是那个只和自己玩的田蝶，课后总是和朋友打成一片。连她的父母都说她变化了很多，每天回家都帮爸爸妈妈们干活，并且主动和父母聊自己的事情。全家人虽然贫困，却过的很开心。
Through the 15 day summer camp activity, there’s been a huge change in Tian Die. She is no longer shy to look in people’s eyes when communicating. She feels comfortable to express her ideas. She speaks up proactively in class and is willing to exchange ideas with teachers about her study after class. She is happier and more open with others than before. When she encounters any study problems, she takes the initiative to talk to her teacher. Her classmates say she has changed into another person totally who can fit into the group well after class. The ‘old’ Tian Die who played only with herself has gone. Her parents say there have been big changes in Tian Die. Now, she is happy to help with household duties and to share her feelings and thoughts with them. Although the family is still poor, they are having a happier life.

一天一天的，曾经那个孤僻的、安静的孩子变成了一个快乐、活泼的孩子。她自己撕去了那层束缚在自己身上的“茧”，真正成为了一只可以自由飞翔的“蝶”。老师看到这变化很欣慰，不仅只是田蝶一个孩子，其他的孩子也有很大的变化。
The lonely, quiet kid has changed into a happy and vivacious person day by day. She tears the cocoon off her body and evolves into a free flying butterfly. We all are so delighted to see her grow and change. Tian Die* is just one of many who have gone through the same positive changes in the camp.
*注：Die, the first name of the girl, means BUTTERFLY in Chinese. Tian is her family name.
